Irmgard (Daisy) Fenger (2019)

Irmgard (Daisy) Fenger, 89, from Mesa, Arizona, passed away on June 19, 2019. She was born on July 10, 1929 in Saughwethen, Germany (formerly East Prussia) and enjoyed a rural childhood in eastern Germany until the start of World War II, at which time she and her family were forced to flee from their home. They eventually restarted their lives in Schlesien, which is Poland today.

After marriage, Irmgard and her husband, Willy, moved to the United States in the 1960s, where they settled in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, with their two sons, Jeffry and Claus. Irmgard moved to Mesa in the 1980s, where she loved the climate, her garden and swimming in her Dreamland community. Irmgard was fiercely independent and a wonderful story teller.

Irmgard is survived by her grandson, Jon Greiner, and preceded in death by her husband and sons. No services were held according to her wishes.
