Joyce Cullen (2019)

Joyce was a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother, teacher, singer, world traveler, ballroom dancer, and Life Master bridge player. She taught primary for 43 years; 33 in Minneapolis during the 1950s through 90s; Bismarck 1960s.

Joyce is survived by son, Ronald; daughters, Rita, Roberta; grandchildren, Jeremy Rosendahl, Rose and Adrian Hamill; great grandson, Cash Rosendahl, and many loving cousins, nieces, nephews, and other relatives. She is preceded in death by parents, Roy and Bessie (Gurnsey) Swedlund; siblings, Wilda and Roy Otis; and son, Reed.

Joyce moved to Dreamland Villa in 2001 and performed regularly in talent shows and recently in the Annual Ladies High Tea.

Funeral service (with reception following) was on Oct. 24, 2019, at Minnehaha Communion Lutheran Church, 4101- 37 Av.S., Mpls., MN 55406. Memorials can be made to American Cancer Society, American Indian College Fund, or Heifer International.
