Survey Results from Jan. 8 , 2013 General Meeting

The following are some of the results:

• 100% read the Citizen Newspaper.
• 73% enjoy the swimming facilities.
• 70% said they attend Board meetings to stay up-to-date.
• 60% loved the pancake and potluck events (and who wouldn't).
• Many other clubs and activities were mentioned as very special.

Some of the comments included:

• "Communication is most important."
• "This is a wonderful place with so many options for such a low fee."
• "I enjoy the friendly neighbors and find it easy to fit in."
• "I enjoy the Jam sessions."
• "I have lived in Dreamland Villa for over 33 years."
• "I've been involved in Help Services for many years."
• "I'm a second generation in Dreamland Villa and have been through the battles, but we won the war."
• "Dreamland is a lovely place to live."
• "I enjoy the activities that are available."
• "I love meeting more people."
• "I like the minimal rules."
• "Facilities are very nice for low costs. The +55 rule is a positive."
• "I feel Dreamland Villa has sooo much to offer for such a small fee. (Look at the dues other communities are required to pay.)"

I want to thank everyone who took the time to participate in this informal survey. My wife and I moved here two years ago from a condo association where we paid $231 per month. We love Dreamland Villa and look forward to the year-round fun and events. It doesn't get any better than this!
