Paul Mung (2013)

MUNGO, Paul, 83,of Dreamland Villa died on October 16, 2013, after a brief illness.  He was born in Glenfield, New York and was a graduate of Utica College and Syracuse University.  A dedicated educator, Paul taught in Phoenix high schools from 1959 until 1987.

Paul was preceded in death by his beloved wife Norma.  Paul had no children, but he often said he felt like he did because of his students.  He was respected and loved by many, including former colleagues and students and staff at the Fort McDowell Casino where he loved to play the "slots."  Paul will be remembered for his generosity, the profound impact he had on his students, the pride he took in their successes, and his frequent and hearty laugh.

Paul is survived by his dear companion, Anna Pratt, nephew David Mungo and wife Merry (Boulder, CO), grand-nephew David C. Mungo (Houston), and nephew Paul H. Mungo (London).
