Strategic PlanningYour opportunity to provide input is NOWThe Dreamland Villa Board of Directors commenced a strategic planning process in March, 2019 in order to assess the health of the organization, identify and prioritize projects and determine current and future needs. A strategic planning committee has been established to accomplish this task.
Once completed, the Strategic Plan (Plan) will provide current and future Boards, as well as the membership, with information to facilitate informed decision-making and choices going forward. The Plan will contain information on a variety of topics, including management and administrative matters, volunteerism, communications, increasing membership, financial assessment, projects and programs. Strategies will be developed to provide specific methods for implementing solutions and results.
The strategic planning committee would like to hear from you! Your input is important to helping develop the strategies. In order to be effective, input from as many residents as possible is needed to ensure an outcome we are happy with. This is what the current and future Boards will use to guide their actions. If you are concerned with what the Board does, then help build the Strategic Plan. Let's keep this a positive process. Turn negative thoughts into positive, constructive comments that will help guide DVRC into the future.
There are several ways for residents to provide input to the strategic plan. Meetings, called coffee talks have been held. Three coffee talks have been held so far and the next one will be held January 15th at Read Hall from 10 am. to noon.
You may also submit ideas, questions or comments to: [email protected]
Get involved! Read the information in the various links below. New content will be added regularly, so come back often. This is in the information and comment gathering stage now. The Plan is scheduled for completion in early April, 2020. Once the Plan is completed it will be made available to any resident. The Planning Process Coffee Talks |
