Buildings & Grounds - Maintenance Crew

Jeff Childers is the Foreman of our Maintenance Staff and has been here at Dreamland since July of 2017.  He is a long time Arizona resident and although he doesn't live in Dreamland his commute is not far.  His past experience was in residential and commercial restoration.  His many skills are very much appreciated here at Dreamland.

Jeff's hobbies include motocross and NASCAR racing.  Currently in his spare time he works with boy scouts and other groups teaching prospecting for gold along with panning.  The children love it and so does he.

Jeff has moved across the country and lived in other places but prefers our beautiful east valley.  He is currently a full time caregiver to his mother as well as Foreman for us here in Dreamland.

Leroy Atkins is a member of our Maintenance crew.  He began working for Dreamland in late 2018.  Leroy covers the bases on the weekends and works a few other weekdays as well. Leroy actually lives here in Dreamland although he is not officially retired as yet.  He is working towards his future retirement now. His background is in computers.  He was a computer technician and likes all that technology.He moved to Arizona from Southern California a number of years ago now with his daughter.  One of Leroy’s talents has been to work with children with autism.
