TAI CHI FOR SENIORS
Tai Chi is a graceful form of exercise that involves a series of movements performed in a slow, focused manner and is accompanied by deep breathing. It is also an excellent way to reduce stress. We have long had requests from residents for a Tai Chi, yoga or other gentle exercise class to be offered, and we are happy to have Kimo Kamamatu, a Dreamland Villa resident that has over 40 years of experience, offering this class. Please wear athletic type shoes, bring a bottle of water.
Join us on Tuesdays and Thursdays for Tai Chi at Read Hall. This form of Tai Chi has been developed with seniors in mind so there are no moves that are impossible for older students to perform.
Tai Chi can improve your balance, overall health and memory. Plus, it's a lot of fun.
Our instructor, is very patient and understanding of any limitations you may have so join us for some exercise for the mind and the body. Oh, and don't forget the fun!.
