Hiking Schedule for 2017-2018

For new hikers to this group, please print out, sign and bring a hiking waiver, available on the DreamlandVilla.org website,
to your first hike.
Dates remain the same.   However, because of the dynamic changes to Arizona’s weather, the hiking locations and starting times may change.
All hikes will be at a pace comfortable for the hikers in our group.

November 6       Usery Park: Horse Trailer Parking-Belvins Trail via Cat Mtn.*
November 13    San Tan Regional Park* (Lunch at San Tan Flats afterward)
November 20    Hawes: from the canal at the end of Power Rd. (5 mile loop)
November 27    Picket Post Mountain (hike North of US 60).  TH far east of Mesa*    

December 4       Hawes: from Bush Highway near the river toward Twisted Sister.
December 11     Superstition Mtns., First Water TH-Treasurer Loop.
December 18    Superstition Mtns., Peralta TH-Miner’s Needle*
December 25     No Hike, it's Christmas!

January 1         No Hike, it's New Years Day!
January 8         Superstition Mtns., First Water TH Rd-Massacre Grounds
January 15        Superstition Mtns., First Water TH-Hackberry Springs*
January 22        Goldfield Mtns:  Loop hike from Wolverine TH past Mask formation.
January 29        South Mtn: Kiwanis-National Trails*.  Lunch-the Farm at South Mtn

February 5         Goldfield Mtns: Wolverine TH-the view hike.  4 mile loop.
February 12        Gravel Pit TH, Apache Trail.  Arch hike.  6 miles round trip.

    * Bathrooms are located at the trailhead.

February through April 2018 will be announced at a later date.
