Yvonne L. Peets

Yvonne L. Peets, 88, of Mesa passed away at Home Sweet Home on Florian on February 17, 2016. Yvonne was born on March 8, 1927 in Rochester, NY.

She married her sweetheart, Roger, on May 4, 1946. They moved to New Hampshire from Massachusetts in 1973, where they owned and operated The Village Inn in Bristol. They moved to Florida in 1982 where they lived for 22 years until they relocated to Mesa, Arizona. Yvonne met many wonderful friends throughout her life, all of who will miss the love and joy she shared. She enjoyed playing cards, participating in neighborhood socials and spending time with family and friends. Yvonne was a strong woman with a giving soul whose thoughtfulness will long be remembered.

 
Yvonne is survived by her son Guy (Linda); her daughter Amy (Glenn); her grand children Kristen, Heather, Megan, Sean, Michelle, Jeremy and Mary; her great grand children Kahla, Connor, Reese, Jaden, Drew, Morgan, Kendall,Payten,Junior and Drena; her sisters Jane and Lorraine; and her brothers Paul, Rene, and Charles.

Yvonne was preceded in death by her husband Roger; her infant son Shawn; her father Marcel and her mother Julia.

The funeral mass was held at All Saints Catholic Churc on February 23, 2016.
