Dreamland Villa Posse

Posse Vacation Watch Forms available Here

Sheriff Paul Penzone announced January 25th 2019, that the Maricopa County Sheriff's Posse was temporarily suspended after a department-wide audit revealed almost all members of the branch had not completed every step of required testing.

Following that announcement the Dreamland Villa portion of the Maricopa County Sheriff's Posse decided to end its relationship with the county and create its own posse. They have a website:  http://dreamlandvillaposse.org/

The Dreamland Villa Posse's mission is to be the eyes and ears of law enforcement. They patrol the streets in duly marked cars, watch for people who may be up to no good, and report same to the Sheriff’s Dispatch Center via telephone. They are NOT law enforcement. They do not carry guns and cannot enforce vehicle laws, nor can they detain or arrest law breakers.

The Dreamland Villa Posse is a separate entity that is not associated with Dreamland Villa Retirement Community. They operate primarily on donations.
