Bob KettenhovenBob Kettenhoven
Bob Kettenhoven joined the Maintenance Staff in late June of 2016. He grew up in Port Washington, Wisconsin, located on the eastern edge of the state north of Milwaukee. His mother lives with her sister in Dreamland Villa on Ensenada. His grandparents also lived here in Dreamland and, because of them, he came to Mesa after he graduated from high school. He went to school at Rio Salado Community College to study electronics. Since that time, he has been employed by various electrical contractors, Spencer’s TV and Appliances. After returning to Wisconsin with his family between 2001 and 2014 he worked at the YWCA of Southeastern Wisconsin. You will have to ask him about his duties there. It was the marquee outside of Farnsworth Hall that prompted him to apply for a position on the Maintenance Staff. His electrical talents were just what DVCC needed. He and Dan Harding have worked hard all summer on some wonderful changes in Dreamland. He was married for 27 years and has two children, Cassandra and Sean. Mostly, they grew up in Wisconsin, but the family recently moved back to Arizona. He loves having dinner with them when able. When he’s not working, Bob enjoys golf, playing poker and cribbage with his mother. He lives in Dreamland and is a member of DVCC. If you’re a poker player, you probably have already met him. A couple of people have told me, “He’s a really nice man.”
