Dean Shirey

Dean Shirey, who has worked part-time for Dreamland Villa for two years, is certified and works on the pools at both Read and Farnsworth as well as doing building maintenance work. His past working experience in cabinet woodworking is a valuable skill for his work in Dreamland.

Born and raised in Toledo, Ohio, Dean came to Arizona after high school, but then returned to Ohio. He has since been back and forth several times, but now has made Dreamland his home for the last three years. His parents, as well as numerous other relatives, also live in Arizona.

He enjoys fishing and sailing as he lived very close to Lake Erie. His father had sailboats so he is very accustomed to the water. One of his favorite activities is hiking which he really enjoys in the mountains here as well as enjoying the fabulous weather.

Dean is the proud father of three children and seven grandchildren all of whom live in Ohio.

“I really like living in Arizona and enjoy working for Dreamland Villa,” commented Dean.
