Hold for Desert Dance

May 12, 2011
This morning there were 82 people that signed in for the ballroom dance lesson. Harry had the hall set up to handle the crowd more comfortably!  We used the hall's sound system and had a head microphone for Shawn which enabled him to be heard in the crowd.
Shawn added two more steps to the foxtrot, the promenade and an under arm turn!  Everyone appears to be catching on and having a fun time.
There is talk (just talk) of having the hall open a little after the lesson and playing music for practice!
Hope to see you there!

The first session of ballroom dance lessons was great! There were 75 in attendance. Quite a few from the group that attend the lessons at the Humana center on Wednesday's. There were about an even number of men and women.
The basic Foxtrot steps were covered and everyone appeared to enjoy the lesson.
We will have to set up the hall differently next week to handle the number of people that attended.
Hope to see you there!
