Neighborhood Watch Program

Block Watch Meeting

Mon, February 18, 2013

2:00 PM
Farnsworth Hall

Dreamland Villa is in the process of organizing a Neighborhood Watch Program in conjunction with the Maricopa County Sheriff’s Department. A meeting will be held at Farnsworth Hall on Monday, February 18, 2013, at 2:00 PM. The purpose of the meeting is to explain the program and what is expected of each resident.

Captains are needed to canvas the neighborhood, maintain a list of participants, conduct yearly meetings, and act as a liaison between the Sheriff’s Office and participants.

Participants will watch out for their neighbor and his/her property, notify the Sheriff’s Office of any suspicious activity, attend yearly Block Watch meetings, and other responsibilities.

If Dreamland can organize the Neighborhood Watch Program, it will make the community a lot safer place to live. Think seriously about it and plan to attend the meeting on Monday, February 18. Thank you for your interest in this program. If you have any questions, please call Barbara Miller (phone number in DVCC directory).
